Jungle Experience
Jungle X · Energy & Nature

Where the forest
meets the sun.

A 1 MW solar plant, expandable to 3 MW, next to an eco-resort in Brazil's Atlantic Forest. Santa Isabel, São Paulo, Brazil.

150,000 m²of land, half forest and half open land
7.5 haof open land available for the plant
1 MW → 3 MWphase 1 and expansion on the same land
5.27 GWhof clean energy per year after the expansion, the consumption of about 2,580 households
The place

A rare territory with infrastructure in place

150,000 m² in Santa Isabel, Greater São Paulo. Half is Atlantic Forest with waterfalls, rivers, lakes and trails. The other half is open land, where the solar plant will be built.

The vision

Two fronts, one territory

Forest eco-resort

  • 8 capsule-style suites in the first phase
  • Share model: one week per year, lifelong and transferable
  • Waterfalls, rivers, lakes and trails in the Atlantic Forest

Solar plant

  • On already open land, with no forest clearing
  • Monthly revenue under multi-year contracts
  • Clean power for the resort as well

Tourism brings visibility and purpose. Energy brings predictable revenue.

The solar resource

Good, steady sun all year round

1,350
kWh per installed kWp, per year
  • Above Shanghai and Munich on the same database
  • Weakest month only 16% below average
  • 656 m altitude: mild temperatures, better yield

The plan

Start with 1 MW, grow to 3 MW

Phase 1

1 MW plant + self-sufficient resort

  • 1.3 MWp · 1 MW AC
  • + 60 kWp at the resort
  • 2.3 to 2.6 ha
  • 1.76 GWh per year (~860 households)
Phase 2

Expansion to 3 MW

  • 3.9 MWp · 3 MW AC
  • 7 to 8 ha (the whole open area)
  • 5.27 GWh per year (~2,580 households)
Open land available: ~7.5 ha
Phase 1Phase 2

Phase 1 takes one third of the open land. The expansion uses the rest, with the layout to be confirmed in the field survey.

The model

How energy becomes revenue

The Jungle X plant generates the energy
Neoenergia Elektro's grid carries it
Homes and businesses subscribe and pay less on their bills
Monthly revenue for the plant
Sustainability

The proposal

The partnership we propose

We are looking for a partner in equipment, engineering and capital.

What we are looking for

  • Equipment: modules, inverters, structures and storage
  • Engineering and technology: design, construction (EPC), monitoring and operation
  • Capital: equity in the plant's project company (SPV)

What Jungle X brings

  • Land with open area and infrastructure
  • Local development: permits, grid connection and customers
  • A showcase project 20 min from Brazil's main international airport
  • Phased entry: 1 MW now, 3 MW next
